AKC is based in the centre of Devizes from where we offer a professional, confidential and personalised service to businesses both locally and nationally.
Our location shown here is at the west end of Devizes Market Place towards the Wadworth's brewery. We are opposite the Gazette & Herald building.
The Partners:
Andrew Henly
has been involved in farm consultancy for over thirty years. Having obtained his degree at Reading University, he worked for the Milk Marketing Board before joining AKC in 1974. He provides budgeting, accounts and business advice to a variety of farm types and sizes.Robert Loxton combines extensive practical farming experience with a qualification in accountancy to provide farm management and advice. He has been managing farms on behalf of private owners and farming companies for the past thirty years. Robert also runs his own 800 acre farming business in Oxfordshire.
Peter Ridout joined AKC in 1973, having worked for the Milk Marketing Board Costing Service, and since then has been providing accounting and consultancy services to a range of farming businesses. A farmer’s son from Somerset, he has extensive knowledge of all main agricultural sectors. A graduate of Harper Adams College, Peter is Vice Chairman of The British Institute of Agricultural Consultants.
Simon Bennett obtained a degree in Agriculture at Wye College, graduating in 1998. A farmer’s son growing up on an 800 acre dairy and arable farm in Wiltshire, he retains an active role in the family business. Simon joined the partnership in 2008 and provides business advice to farmers in all sectors.
Consultants:
David Knight
has been involved in farm management for over thirty years. He obtained his degree at Reading University followed by an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from Wye College, University of London. He has his own fruit farm near Tunbridge Wells and is a director of several local agricultural co-operatives. He is an active member of the NFU. David is a past winner of the Grower of the Year Award for Business Initiative.Richard Tustian has extensive farming experience having managed dairy, beef, arable and sheep farms in Kent, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire for over thirty years. He also took his degree at Reading University followed by a post-graduate Farm Business Diploma at Wye College. Richard now runs the family farm in Oxfordshire and is heavily involved in the local farming community. Richard was chairman of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants from 2005 to 2007.
